Vision and Mission

The Society of Adolescent Health in Uganda (SAHU) was launched in November 2012, following a regional training in Kampala, Uganda, that was led by experts from Columbia University, Makerere University and the Naguru Teenage Information and Health Centre.

Our Vision

By investing into the health of the adolescent population in Uganda, each and every adolescent will be provided the opportunity to access their potential and grow into healthy, responsible and independent adults.

Our Mission

SAHU exists to promote comprehensive adolescent health, growth and development in Uganda through knowledge dissemination, research, advocacy and affiliation with other societies and bodies involved in adolescent health.
